In addition to periodic ‘deal pitching’ sessions, AngelHub hosts a monthly high-touch networking platform by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. These events are targeted at getting founders (and prospective founders) of interesting high-growth ventures together for meaningful conversations on shared experiences.
Rather than a traditional networking event where one needs to delicately balance a drink and cocktail snacks in one hand while exchanging awkward handshakes and business cards with the other, Founders Dinners take the form of, well… a casual dinner. One experienced guest entrepreneur joins representatives of the AngelHub team, and then 10 seats are open around the table for other entrepreneurs to join in. These events alternate between Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Next Founders’ Dinner: Wednesday 20 February 2013 from 7pm
Venue: Dear Me @SiliconCapeGuest Entrepreneur: Hannes van Rensburg - Mobile Payment expert: Founder CEO Fundamo and Group Country Manager: Visa Sub Sahara Africa.Cost: R250pp for Food & Drinks
